It was a stressful week for Beij and I. We were looking for a place to de-stress and Tagaytay was the first thing we thought of. So off to Tagaytay we went with Navy of course.

The first thing that we had to do when we reach Tagaytay is to look for a place that would accept the little boy with us. We were not able to research about hotels that accept pets so we settled for a room for rent near the Picnic Grove.

After freshening up, we decided to go to Residence Inn Zoo. Pets are not allowed inside the zoo but you have the option to leave them in the guard house. We didn't want to leave the little boy so we decided not to go inside the zoo anymore. There's always a next time anyway. We went back to the room instead and spend the rest of the day relaxing, watching tv and playing with the little boy.

We woke up early the next day and spent the morning in Picnic Grove. We tried their eco-adventure trail and spent some time in the view deck. Navy enjoyed the view and the weather as well. We had to leave the place a little before lunch time since we will be having lunch at Leslie's and we do not have any table reservations.

And that ends our short trip to Tagaytay. Will talk about our food trip in a separate post.

By the way, did I mention that Taal Volcano was on Alert Level # 2 the day we arrived? :)
